An independent study focused on drawing that explores visual notations of qualitative and quantitative measures of time. The foundation of the drawing is structured by months and years, however it evolves to propose an alternative perception of time and space as experienced through Lodgepole pine trees from the Pacific Northwest. This investigation looks closely at their life cycle – progression, threats, afterlife – through the exploration of analytical, time-based drawing.
