Analog photography and risograph-printed materials for the exhibition Rewilding Photography by Angela Nigg and Meret Vischer, the collaborative duo of Botanisches Fotolabor. The project deliverables included: riso-printed flyers, posters, exhibition texts and captions as well as film photography and hand-made typography.
The flyer and poster were integrated with 35mm photography that was developed in a plant-based developer locally-harvested from along the Rhine, then scanned and riso-printed with rice- and soy-based inks. Hand-made typography was also implemented into the exhibition materials to emphasize the artists’ hands-on approach to exploring alternative methods of traditional photographic processes. Critical to this project was to maintain a sensitive and holistic approach to more environmentally-friendly production.
