Backpacker
Magazine Archive
1973–1979

A book project showcasing the first 35 covers of Backpacker Magazine from 1973–1979. The selected issues are presented in 1:1 scale along with an index of information and analytical drawings. As a printed archive, the project offers a reflection on Backpacker Magazine’s graphic design from the 1970s, where photographic imagery was prioritized over featured content.
